Sort It Out Lisburn!

Lisa Finn has joined the Bryson Education Team to deliver a new waste education programme within the Lisburn City Council area.
Supported by funding from Lisburn City Council, Lisa will be involved in delivering free education programmes in relation to waste and recycling to schools and community groups. The programmes will focus on the recycling facilities provided by the Council and supporting the roll out of new services, like the introduction of the new food waste collection scheme.
Lisa is a Galway Native who has joined us from An Taisce (The National Trust for Ireland) where she worked on the Green Schools Programme, known as Eco-Schools in Northern Ireland, and her experience will be invaluable in supporting schools in Lisburn as they work towards Green Flag status.
As well as Eco-Schools, Lisa will be promoting a number of other activities within Lisburn including Environmental Youth Speak, providing information to the community and attending various events throughout the year.
For more information or to book a free visit for your school or community group, you can contact her by phone on 028 92 509 458, by e-mail waste.education@lisburn.gov.uk or via the Contact Us section of this website.
