Competition - What's Your One Good Idea?

The Northern Ireland Energy Agency in partner ship with Sustainable Energy Ireland would like to invite all Post Primary pupils to enter this year’s photographic competition.
Entrants are asked to take a photograph that will raise awareness of the things everyone can do to tackle climate change by using energy more efficiently and making changes the way we live, work and travel.
Pictures submitted to the competition will be shown on-line and the winning photographer will be awarded a prize at the ceremony in Dublin in May and their picture will form part of a calendar for 2011.
All winning pictures (from Ireland North and South) will be shown in a touring exhibition, which will visit the Northern Ireland winner’s town or city.
This will be the 7th year we have run an all island photographic competition and the standard has been consistently high. We are especially pleased that the overall winner has been from Northern Ireland for the last two years and we are hoping that this year the winning streak will continue.
The closing date is 24th of March 2010, so get your thinking cap on and get snapping.
To enter you need to download an information sheet and application form from the main Energy Agency website at www.nienergyagency.org or to get the documents e-mailed to you contact George Lyttle, Education Coordinator -glyttle@nienergyagency.org or telephone 02890269956.
